Music Ministry

“A very important part of our services is the music and worship. Our music is contemporary, Southern Gospel, Soul Gospel, Country, Bluegrass, etc.. We want to minister gospel music to reach people young and old. More than anything in this part of the service, is lifting up the Lord Jesus so that all men and women will be drawn by His Spirit to Him. We want to pray before every service for the leading of God, so that we do not get in the Lord’s way, but to follow what He would want us to sing or not sing.

Children’s Ministry

At Souls Harbour, we will soon have Sunday School designed to nurture our children and help them achieve their full potential as followers of Christ. Children are never too young to hear about Jesus! The mission of this ministry includes fostering skill-building through relevant Biblical teaching, positive role modeling, and esteem building. Activities are chosen with a focus in mind: to prepare children to discover their uniqueness and, eventually, God’s mission for their lives. From the earliest stories about Noah’s Ark to more advanced application lessons, children become better grounded in their faith by expanding their knowledge of the Bible. We believe that Sister Ruth Roberts is one of the best Children’s ministry directors you can have. She has been in Children’s ministry for 30 years!

Care Group

Life can deal some hard blows at times, but we don’t always have to go through hard times alone. Souls Harbour Church has a Care Group Ministry that is here to help. Apostle Paul said in Galatians 6:2, “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Our leaders are dedicated to bearing the burdens of others by visiting those who have been hospitalized, preparing food for the sick, attending the funeral of a lost loved one, and honoring personal prayer request. We also enjoy celebrating special occasions such as birthdays, baby showers, and anniversaries. We want to be more like Jesus, and for us to be more like him we must obey his command in John 15:12 when He said, “That ye love one another, as I have loved you”.
